For non-profits

The parts your mission needs, printed by the community.

Assistive devices, field equipment, replacement parts - if it can be 3D printed, a maker on PrintTime can make it. Post what you need with the model file; local makers claim it, print it, and ship it to you. It costs your organization nothing.

How it works

01

Get verified once

Register, then submit proof your organization is a real non-profit (registration number, official website). Our team reviews it - usually quickly.

02

Post your request

Upload the STL/3MF model or link to one, and set quantity, material, color, and deadline. Your city and country show makers roughly where parts are going.

03

A maker prints it

Follow the status from claimed to printed to shipped, and use the private job chat to sort out details.

04

You confirm receipt

Only your organization can close a job out - when the parts arrive, mark them received and the job is done.

What to expect

  • Free - makers donate their time and material
  • You stay in control: a job isn't finished until you confirm it
  • Never share a street address - city and country only
  • Makers volunteer as they're able, so generous deadlines get the best results
